WhidbeyHealth is pleased to announce that we have started vaccination efforts as an 'open' vaccine provider for Island County with the support of Island County Departments of Emergency Management and Public Health. The Washington State Department of Health is taking a phased approach to vaccinating. As additional information becomes available regarding progression into subsequent Phases/Tiers, and which portions of the population apply to each Phase of the State's Phased Approach to administering the COVID-19 vaccine, this page will be updated to reflect the most current information. Find current information on the phased approach here.
Current Phase Allocation Allowance:
- Phase 1A, Tier 1
- Phase 1A, Tier 2
- Phase 1B, Tier 1
Please note: In an effort to eliminate the possibility of canceling any future vaccine appointments due to vaccine allocation challenges, appointment spaces will only be available to schedule based on the quantity of vaccine doses that WhidbeyHealth has on hand. As we receive additional allocated vaccines from WA Department of Health we will add additional appointment spaces to our schedule. We are expecting the available appointment spaces to be booked quickly - please do not be disappointed if you are unable to make an appointment for a specific set of doses. Additional vaccine allocations will be delivered and we will continue to announce new appointment availability until the vaccine supply chain has normalized.
We understand that our community is very eager to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.
