Triffon is a lifelong resident of Green Township. He grew up in the Monfort Heights/White Oak area, where he resides with his wife Stacey and daughter Zoe. He attended St. James and then LaSalle High School. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College and received his Master’s Degree in Education at Xavier University.

Triffon was appointed to the Board of Trustees in March 2014 and was elected in 2015 & 2017. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman after serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees in 2016 & 2017.

Triffon currently serves as the Chief of Staff for the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office. He helps oversee the daily administration of an office of 200 employees.

Over the past 14 years, Triffon has held multiple roles within Hamilton County. Prior to his current role, Triffon served as Chief Deputy for the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts and Division Chief for the Central Services Department. He handled press releases, Human Resources, Payroll & Benefits, and balanced an $11M budget for the office of 220 employees. Before joining the Clerk of Courts Office, Triffon served as a Program Director for Hamilton County Juvenile Court. He established the County’s first unofficial Teen Court Program for first-time juvenile offenders. He partnered with over 20 area high schools to recruit, hire, and train the students for these positions and wrote numerous grants to fund the program.

Triffon has also served as a political consultant where he has managed campaigns at the local, countywide and state level. He was the Hamilton County Co-Chair for the DeWine for Governor Campaign in 2018. He also was the consultant for levy renewal of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County in 2013. In addition to this, he has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Hands Together organization which specializes in education for the youth in poverty ridden Haiti. Triffon was a member of the Green Township Audit Committee before joining the Board of Trustees. He currently serves on the Executive Board of the Hamilton County Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency and was the past President of the Green Township Republican Club.

Outside of the Prosecutor’s Office, campaign consulting, and various committees on which he serves, you can often find Triffon on the baseball diamond. Baseball is a great passion of his. He was a starting pitcher in College at Kentucky Wesleyan where he was a team captain his senior season. Triffon is currently entering his fifteenth season overall and 12th as Head Varsity Baseball Coach for Summit Country Day. In 2013 and 2015, Triffon was a finalist for the Greater Cincinnati Regional Coach of the Year. He has been named Coach of the Year in Summit’s league four times, most recently in 2018, and was named the Greater Cincinnati Division 3 Coach of the Year in 2015. He has led the Silver Knights to the Regionals of the State Tournament in 2007, 2013 and 2015. In 2015, he led Summit to the State Championship game after winning the Sectional, District and Regional titles. Triffon is the winningest Baseball Coach in the school’s history with 197 career wins. He received the “Leader of Character Award” from Summit Country Day in 2017. Triffon takes great pride in coaching and being a mentor to the young men on his team.

As a trustee, Triffon will focus on maintaining quality safety services, look to maintain/or improve property values, stimulate economic development, and keep the Township a great place to live, work and raise a family. A safe community with strong family values and great schools is what he believes is a key ingredient for a first class community.
